Born in the Bronx New York, Jorge attended Hofstra University in New York where he received his B.A. in Psychology and Speech. Upon his graduation Jorge had an opportunity to play professional baseball but turned it down to attend law school. Jorge accepted a scholarship to the University of Texas Law School. After receiving his J.D. and passing the bar in Texas Jorge then began working as an Assistant Attorney General, while pursuing his other passions of poetry, screenwriting, and acting. He appeared in several National Commercials as well as national print advertisements for Eastbay and Nike. In addition, Jorge was selected to compete on the American Gladiators where he won his show.
In January of 2000, after a productive career as an Assistant Attorney General, Jorge decided to leave the Attorney General's office and start his own law firm the Sanchez Law firm. where he specializes in personal injury and criminal defense. Jorge went on to win several high profile cases including the "Yogurt Shop Murders" and the Chidalu Amobi Capital Murder case.
In 2001 Jorge decided to open up his own Sports Management firm called Blessed Sports Management. For seven years Jorge represented several NFL players negotiating their contracts with NFL teams.
In 2002, Jorge finally began to pursue his passion of writing and acting. Jorge's first movie entitled "The Rookie." where he played "Royce Clayton" starring Dennis Quaid had great success at the theatres. In addition, Jorge attended his first film festival "The American Black Film Festival" which changed his life. Within a month of returning from the festival Jorge established "Blessed One Productions." to serve as a conduit to his acting and writing. Jorge has written, produced, and acted in four of his short films.
