A national search to identify outstanding comedic talent and expose undiscovered comics aspiring to careers in film and television to the industry at large, to provide the winner with access to new industry contacts, as well as an additional live performance opportunity. Five finalists perform live at the ABFF where one winner is selected to receive a $5,000 prize and the opportunity to meet with an HBO executive.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
