ABFF Comedy Wings Competition

Presented by HBO

A national search to identify outstanding comedic talent and expose undiscovered comics aspiring to careers in film and television to the industry at large, to provide the winner with access to new industry contacts, as well as an additional live performance opportunity. Five finalists perform live at the ABFF where one winner is selected to receive a $5,000 prize and the opportunity to meet with an HBO executive.

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all persons of color, 21 years of age or older, who are permanent, legal United States (“U.S.”) residents who are physically residing in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia (excluding Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands and other U.S. territories).

PRIZE: One winner is selected to receive $5,000 and has the opportunity to meet with a HBO comedy exec post festival.
